We may use your first name and last inital (e.g. John S.) in referring to your sighting, but your full name will never be released without your written permission. At your request, we will withhold your first name as well. Locations of sightings may be protected at the witness' request. Your email address and other personal information will not be shared, sold, or disclosed to third parties in any form, for any purposes, at any time unless we first have your consent. We will never send you unsolicited email.

MUPBO makes this promise to you: no ridicule, no censorship. If parts of your sighting don't fit with our theories, we won't edit out those portions. We'll leave them as you wrote them. Reports may be edited for clarity (e.g. to add more info on where the sighting occurred or correct typos), to remove profanity, or to protect the privacy of other witnesses. However, we will never change the facts of your sighting or cut out details. Witness reports are only shown to MUPBO members.
